CAREERS

Do you want to change the lives of others?

What we do

The Justice Assistance mission is to strengthen the community by providing a unique mix of innovative and critical services to assist our state’s justice system in a way that builds the capacity of people we care for to live safe, productive lives.

Since the founding of the organization in 1978, there are now four active programs that have served over 1200 people annually. The court-based services are Project Restitution, a monitoring program for those who receive a filing from the Rhode Island District Court, and Project Victim Services, a notification, guidance, and resource program for the victims of crime. CORES is a service program that provides a family of wraparound services, including life skills, employment and education, community health/ peer support, and counseling. Habitat for Justice is our newest program that provides workforce training and develops affordable housing in Rhode Island.

Through our innovative programs we seeks to address the entire need of defendants and victims of crime.

The Right Person

Justice Assistance seeks people who are energetic, empathetic, and passionate about working with those who are justice-involved. All projects are operated with a team-based approach. If you are a person ready to change the world, scroll to the bottom of this page for current openings.
